Sterling Farm is one of the largest manufacturers of NPK blended fertilizers approved by department of agriculture in south India. The other products manufactured and marketed by the division include organic manures and micronutrient fertilizers.

NPK Fertilizer Mixtures

Crop and soil specific grades of NPK Mixtures are made available to meet the individual requirements. Our R&D Centre can analyse the soil and plant part and prepare plant nutrient recommendation.  
Organic manures

'Kalpaka- 100' & 'Kanakam' : These organic manures raise the productivity of the soil by improving soil fertility and replenishing its organic content.
Kalpaka-100 : Is an excellent organic manure in pelletted form, for ease of handling, storage and use.

Recommended Quantity:

1) Small Plants (Shrubs & bushes) : 2 to 3
    kgs   per plant
2) Large plants and trees : 5 to 8 kgs per 
    plant 
3) Field Crops : 200-250 kg per acre
Application:

Kalpaka - 100 is to be applied as a base manure early in the season. Ensure adequate mixing in the soil / media. Being in pelleted form it will take a long time for disintegration unless it is well worked into the soil.

 Kanakam

"Kanakam" is a complete organic manure in powder form which improves the water holding capacity of the soil. It also improves physical structure of the soil and provides organic matter. Organic contents stimulate microbial activity and helps better use efficiency of micro nutrients. It also provides micro nutrient's growth promoting enzymes.

 Usage:

1) Small Plants (Shrubs & bushes) : 2 to 3 kgs per plant
2) Large plants and trees : 5 to 8 kgs per plant 
3) Field Crops : 200-250 kg per acre

To get best results work Kanakam well into the soil around the plants.

 Micronutrient fertilizers

Suvarna
Plants require micro nutrients such as Zinc, Magnesium and Boron apart from Macro nutrients-Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potash. 

Modern scientific studies have shown that for increase in yield and plant health, micro nutrients are quite indispensable. Continuous cultivation and the use of NPK fertilizers alone over a period of time will reduce the natural vigour in the soil. This is the context where micro nutrient - SUVARNA (Micro Food) is of much importance . Suvarna micro food contains Micro as well as Macro nutrients.

 Each grade of Suvarna Micro food is scientifically developed to suit specific crop and soil condition in our Research and Development Centre (ISO 9002 Bureau Veritas Certification)
